Lentils With Lemon Dressing (Adas Mtabbal) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown lentils
    2 cloves garlic
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. olive oil
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 hot green chili pepper, chopped fine
Preparation
    Boil the lentils in water for 40 minutes or until tender. Crush garlic with salt and add lemon juice and oil.
    Drain lentils and put them in a shallow bowl.
    Pour on the dressing and garnish with chopped parsley and hot pepper.
    Serve one hour later. Serves 4 to 6 people.
