Venison Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground lean venison
    1/4 lb. ground pork shoulder
    1/2 c. bread crumbs (season with garlic powder, onion powder, parsley and Parmesan cheese to taste)
    1 egg
    1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced thin
    1 medium onion, finely diced
    1/4 c. Romano cheese, grated
    2 shallots, coarsely chopped
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
    2 slices bacon
Preparation
    Combine ground venison and pork shoulder.
    Add seasoned bread crumbs and egg.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Add remaining ingredients, except bacon slices.
    Mix thoroughly and pat into a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
    Spread bacon slices over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until done, about 1 hour.
    Serves 6.
