Strawberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. hulled strawberries
    3 c. sugar
Preparation
    Place strawberries in kettle over heat.
    Crush as they heat. When berries boil, add sugar and cook quickly until thick (not over 20 minutes), stirring frequently to prevent burning.
    Pour into clean, hot jars and seal.
    Makes 4 (1/2 pint) jars.
