Crab Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. crab meat
1 Tbsp. minced onion
1 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
1 dash pepper
1 dash cayenne pepper
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
Preparation

Pick over crab meat for pieces of shell.
Cook onion in butter until tender.
Combine all ingredients, except bread crumbs. Shape into 6 cakes and roll in bread crumbs.
Place cakes in frypan with 1/8-inch of fat that is hot, but not smoking.
Fry at moderate heat.
When all the cakes are brown on one side, turn and brown other side.
The cooking time will be approximately 5 to 8 minutes.
