Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. orange juice
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter, sugar and egg.
Beat in flour, baking powder, orange juice and vanilla.
Chill 2 to 3 hours.
Roll 1/4-inch thick.
Cook 6 to 10 minutes, until golden brown on edges.
Makes 6 dozen 2-inch cookies.
