Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (4 oz.) can chiles, whole or diced
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. cream-style corn
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sour cream
2/3 c. melted shortening
1 c. corn meal
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Mix together all ingredients, except chiles and cheese.
Pour half of batter into 9-inch square greased pan.
Spread chiles and cheese on evenly.
Then pour remaining batter on top.
