Asparagus With Water Chestnuts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. fresh asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces
1/4 c. salad oil
salt and pepper
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced
Preparation

Heat oil in large skillet. Add asparagus and garlic. Cover; stir now and then. Tender in 5 to 7 minutes. Add chestnuts 2 to 3 minutes before removing from fire (just long enough to heat).
