Caramels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can Eagle Brand milk
    2 c. white Karo syrup
    4 c. brown sugar
    1 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine; stir constantly.
    Boil to 248\u00b0.
    Pour onto buttered cookie sheet (with sides).
    Cut when cool.
    Wrap in waxed paper.
