Apple Mallow Yam Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large apples, sliced
    1/3 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. brown sugar (packed)
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 (17 oz.) cans yams, drained
    1/4 c. margarine (solid type)
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
Preparation
    Toss apples and nuts with combined brown sugar and cinnamon. Alternate layers (begin with yams) in a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Dot with margarine.
    Cover.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes. Sprinkle marshmallows on top.
    Heat until lightly browned.
    Serves 6 to 8.
