Libby'S Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    1 can evaporated milk (12 oz.)
    1 pinch salt
    2 sticks butter
    16 oz. chocolate chips
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Bring sugar, evaporated milk and salt to a full boil over medium heat.
    Reduce heat and stir constantly for 10 minutes. Remove from heat.
    Add butter, chocolate chips and vanilla.
    Beat with electric mixer until it loses its gloss.
    Add nuts, if desired.
    Pour into buttered 9 x 13-inch pan or dish.
