Asparagus Ham Roll-Ups - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. asparagus spears, cooked
    8 thin sliced boiled ham
    2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Place 3 to 4 spears of asparagus on each ham slice.
    Roll up and secure with toothpick. Melt butter in heavy saucepan.
    Stir in flour and seasonings.
    Cook until pasty.
    Add milk and stir until thickened.
    Add cheese and heat until cheese melts.
    Place ham rolls in baking dish.
    Pour cheese sauce over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 20 to 30 minutes.
    Makes 4 servings.
