Perfect Pastry - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. shortening
1 egg
5 Tbsp. water
1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation

Sift together dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening.
Combine all other ingredients.
Sprinkle 4 tablespoons mixture over flour mixture; mix with fork.
Add 4 more tablespoons and continue mixing until pastry holds together.
Gather dough with hands and press into ball.
Wrap in clear plastic.
Wrap; chill 15 minutes. Divide dough into 4 parts.
Roll out between clear plastic wrap. Makes 4 crusts.
Freezes well.
