Maple Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. white sugar
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
Preparation
    Bring the first 3 ingredients to a boil.
    Cover; cook 1 minute. Cool slightly.
    Add the vanilla and maple flavoring.
    Cover saucepan for a few minutes as syrup cooks to melt down crystals. This helps syrup from crystallizing later in storage.
