Ingredients

1 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cocoa (unsweetened)
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. instant coffee
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 Tbsp. dark rum
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
5 Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. hot water
whipping cream or ice cream
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Sift first 7 ingredients together into a medium bowl.
Stir in walnuts.
In another bowl combine milk, butter, vanilla and rum.
Combine with flour mixture and mix until smooth.
Spread into an 8-inch square baking dish.
Mix next 3 ingredients together and sprinkle over top of batter mixture. Pour hot water over the top.
Do not mix.*
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
Cool at least one hour.
Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
