Sesame-Garlic Cheese Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. sesame seed
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (at room temperature)
    1/2 c. Ricotta cheese or cottage cheese
    1 Tbsp. minced parsley
    1 tsp. garlic salt
Preparation
    Place sesame seed in a small frying pan over medium heat; cook, stirring often, until golden.
    Beat cream cheese until smooth.
    Beat in Ricotta or cottage cheese, parsley, garlic salt and the sesame seed.
    Mound in a small serving bowl; cover and chill as long as 1 week.
    Before serving, let stand at room temperature about half an hour.
    Serve the cheese spread with raw vegetables.
    Makes about 1 cup.
