Ingredients

1 lb. Crisco
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
6 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. anise (spice)
Preparation

Cream Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs and mix well.
Gradually add flour, soda and anise.
Refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight.
Roll into balls the size of a walnut or smaller.
Grease cookie pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Roll in sugar and cinnamon mixture.
Yield:
100 cookies.
