Cabbage Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage, shredded
    1 green pepper, sliced thin
    2 medium onions (rings)
    1 medium jar pimentos
    1 c. salad oil
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. white vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Mix the oil, sugar, white vinegar, salt and celery seed and boil 2 minutes.
    Pour the hot dressing over the vegetables.
    Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
    Overnight is best.
