Oatmeal Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup rolled oatmeal (not instant)
    1 cup buttermilk (or 1 cup milk with 1 tsp. lemon juice)
    1/3 cup soft butter or margarine
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 cup flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 cup flour
    3 Tsp. sugar
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 cup nuts, finely chopped
    1/2 cup oatmeal
    1 well beatened egg
    1 cup mashed ripe banana
    1/4 cup milk
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
Preparation
    Mix together dry ingredients.
    Mix together all other ingredients.
    Stir together just until moistened.
    Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full and bake at 400\u00b0 F. for 20 to 25 minutes. Should make 10 muffins.
