Ingredients

1 egg
1 c. + 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 c. flour
1 1/3 c. sugar
dash of salt
grated lemon peel or 1/2 to 3/4 tsp. almond flavoring
Preparation

Combine all ingredients.
Mix to form a supple dough.
Place in greased spring-form pan, 10 or 11-inch.
Bake 45 minutes at 300\u00b0. Edges should be light brown.
Remove from pan and top with fresh fruit, i.e., kiwi and strawberries.
Slice and serve.
