Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk
1 c. raisins
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. butter
2 c. boiling water
Preparation

Mix the first 6 ingredients and add raisins.
Put batter in greased and floured pan (deep loaf type).
Mix remaining ingredients and pour over batter.
Bake until the cake is done. Has its own sauce.
Use whipped cream when served.
