Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

1 c. sugar
2/3 c. cooking oil
1 large egg
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts
2 c. apples, sliced
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
Beat egg and add sugar and oil.
Sift all dry ingredients together and add to first mixture.
Add apples, nuts and vanilla; mix.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
