Mailanderli(Swiss Sugar Cookies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks (1 c.) unsalted butter, softened
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 large egg yolks
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 large whole egg
    1 egg yolk
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Beat butter until light and fluffy.
    Add sugar, beating until very pale, about 5 minutes.
    Add yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Beat in vanilla.
    Sift flour into butter mixture and fold in thoroughly.
