Hungarian Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 pieces chicken
    1 to 2 pkg. giblets
    1 medium onion
    1/4 c. celery leaves, chopped
    1/2 c. parsley, chopped
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 bag carrots
    2 c. rice
    1 c. water
    paprika (approximately 2 to 3 Tbsp.)
Preparation
    Saute onion in oil in large Dutch oven type pan.
    Add chicken, giblets (hearts and stomachs), carrots (cleaned and cut in 2-inch pieces) and salt and pepper and sprinkle with paprika until covered (coated).
    Cook covered over low heat until chicken is done.
    Remove chicken (leave in carrots and giblets) and add parsley, celery leaves, water and rice.
    Recover and cook over low heat until rice is cooked.
    Stir often to prevent sticking and burning.
