Saucy Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. peeled, deveined, quick cooking shrimp, drained
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
    3/4 c. chopped green pepper (1 small)
    3/4 c. chopped onion (1 small)
    1 1/2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a 12 x 8-inch baking dish; mix well.
    Arrange shrimp in a single layer.
    Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave at High for 6 1/2 to 9 minutes, stirring once, until shrimp are opaque.
    Let stand, covered, 1 to 2 minutes.
    Serve over rice, if desired.
