Sour Cream Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large potatoes
    2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
    1 stick butter
    1 medium onion (diced)
    1 cup sour cream
    salt and black pepper to taste
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
    Boil potatoes whole.
    Cut into slices 1/4 inch thick.
    Set aside.
    Melt cheese and butter in sauce pan on top of stove.
    Add onion, sour cream, salt, and pepper to cheese mixture.
    Mix in Potatoes.
    Place in a large baking dish and cook for 45 minutes.
