Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    16 oz. pkg. caramels
    1/2 c. pecans
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. milk
    8 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt caramels, milk and butter over low heat.
    Set aside.
    Mix cake mix according to package directions.
    Pour half of batter into a 9 x 13-inch pan which has been greased.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Remove from oven and spread caramel mixture on top. Sprinkle nuts and chips on caramel mixture.
    Pour remaining batter on top and return to oven.
    Bake for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    You can use milk chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet chips.
