Chicken And Vegetables With Sauce Supreme - cooking recipe

6 large chicken breasts, cooked and cut into chunks
1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen crinkle cut sliced carrots, cooked
1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli, cooked
3 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. dry sherry
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Arrange chicken and vegetables in 9 x 13-inch dish.
In saucepan, melt butter, blend in flour and salt.
Add milk; cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and bubbles.
Cook 2 minutes longer.
Remove from heat.
Stir in mayonnaise and sherry.
Pour sauce over chicken and vegetables.
Bake, covered, in 350\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes or until heated through.
Uncover, sprinkle with cheese and bake, uncovered, 3 to 5 minutes or until cheese melts and turns golden brown.
Serves 8.
