Buttermilk Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 stick butter, melted
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (9-inch) pie shell, unbaked
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Beat eggs and sugar with an electric mixer on low speed until fluffy.
    Add buttermilk and melted butter.
    Mix well on low speed; stir in vanilla.
    Pour mixture into pie shell.
    Bake on lower rack in oven for 45 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Cool before slicing.
