Homemade Lemonade - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
2 c. water
1 c. lemon peel strips (about 6 lemons)
3 c. lemon juice (about 14 lemons)
1 (1 liter) bottle club soda, chilled
Preparation

In a large saucepan, cook and stir sugar and water over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Stir in lemon strips. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Cool slightly. Stir in lemon juice. Cover and refrigerate until chilled. Discard lemon strips. Pour mixture into a pitcher. Gradually stir in club soda. Yield: 10 cups.
