Swissed Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. (approximately) round steak, cut in serving-size pieces
    2 or 3 Tbsp. cooking oil
    flour
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 medium onions, sliced
    2 green peppers, cut in strips
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Heat oil in frying pan.
    Dredge steak in flour seasoned with salt
    and
    pepper.\tBrown meat on both sides.
    Add onion slices and pepper strips.\tPour tomato sauce over all.
    Reduce heat to simmer for\tapproximately
    1
    hour,
    or
    until meat is tender and vegetables are cooked.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
