Barbecue Rib Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped onion
1 clove minced garlic
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. orange or lemon zest
2 Tbsp. orange or lemon juice
1 c. ketchup
1/2 c. water
1/3 c. prepared mustard
3 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire
1/8 tsp. cayenne or 1 tsp. Tabasco (optional)
Preparation

Saute onion in oil, add everything else.
Simmer for a while. Best made a day or so ahead of time.
Brush on meat just before removing from charcoal, oven or microwave to avoid scorching. Makes about 2 cups.
Adjust ingredients to taste.
