Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1/2 c. oil
    3 c. grated carrots
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Beat sugar and eggs at medium speed for 2 minutes.
    Add all dry ingredients and mix thoroughly at medium speed.
    Then add carrots, nuts and raisins, mixing well.
    Spread into 13 x 9-inch or 9-inch layer pans.
    (Grease and flour pan.)
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Put butter frosting or whipped cream on top.
