Molasses Corn Puffs - cooking recipe

1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
5 Tbsp. cold butter, cut in small pieces
2 Tbsp. light molasses
6 Tbsp. milk
Preparation

Combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder and salt in medium bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender until mixture is in coarse crumbs.
Pour molasses into measuring cup.
Add milk to make 1/2 cup.
Add liquids to dry ingredients.
Mix with fork until dough clings together.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 13 to 15 minutes until golden and baked through.
Cool slightly on wire rack.
Serve warm or cool completely and serve cold.
