Banana Coconut Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites, beaten
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. coconut
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    Cool Whip
    dash of salt
    22 crushed vanilla wafers
    1 tsp. vanilla
    bananas
Preparation
    While beating egg whites, add sugar and beat until stiff. Crush vanilla wafers.
    Add to egg whites along with coconut, nuts, salt and vanilla.
    Spread into a well-buttered, large pie plate. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Cool.
    Slice 1 or 2 bananas on top and add Cool Whip.
    Chill.
