Mincemeat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean meat, cooked tender and put through food chopper
    1/2 lb. suet, chopped fine
    5 lb. tart apples, chopped
    3 lb. raisins, chopped
    2 1/2 pt. grape juice
    1 c. molasses
    1 orange with juice, peel and chop
    1 lemon with juice, peel and chop
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. mace
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. allspice
    2 tsp. cloves
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Have mixture of first 4 ingredients come to a boil, then let simmer 1 hour.
    To this mixture, add the remainder of ingredients.
    Have mixture come to a boil and boil 10 minutes. Pack in clean jars.
    Screw on bands tight.
    Process in water bath for 30 minutes.
