Crescents - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    4 1/2 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
    2 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. orange juice
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. water
    1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
    1 1/3 c. bread flour (4 c.)
    1 1/3 pkg. RapidRise 50% faster yeast (4 pkg.)
    1 1/3 tsp. salt (4 tsp.)
    2 1/2 Tbsp. sugar (7 Tbsp.)
    2/3 c. hot water (2 c.)
    2 beaten eggs (7 to 8 large), reserve some for top
    2 plus Tbsp. oil (7 Tbsp.)
    2 1/3 to 2 2/3 c. additional flour (7 to 8 c.)
Preparation
    In a large glass or Pyrex bowl, mix flour, yeast, salt and sugar.
    Add hot water.
    Add beaten eggs and oil.
    Beat 3 minutes. Add additional flour, starting with 2 cups.
    Stir.
    Add flour until dough is no longer sticky.
    Knead 5 minutes.
