Cathie Mcmahon'S Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) box Raisin Bran
    4 beaten eggs
    1 qt. buttermilk
    1 c. liquid shortening
    5 c. flour
    5 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. salt
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. raisins, plumped in boiling water 5 minutes
    1 c. finely chopped nuts (if desired)
Preparation
    Use a really large bowl to mix wet ingredients.
    Add dry ingredients.
    Fill muffin tins with papers and fill.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Makes 4 to 6 dozen.
