Swedish Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 2/3 c. whipping cream (not whipped)
    1 c. sugar
    1 envelope Knox gelatine
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    fresh fruit
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients. Heat to steaming point.
    Cool until it begins to thicken.
    Add sour cream and vanilla.
    Stir well.
    Serve topped with fresh strawberries or fruit in season.
