Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter or margarine
3/4 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
6 large eggs
4 c. sifted plain flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sweet milk
Preparation

Cream together butter, Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs, one at
a time, beating after each addition.\tSift together flour, salt
and baking
powder.
Add
alternately\twith
milk.
Add vanilla. Pour
into\tgreased
and
floured
10-inch tube pan. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 45 minutes.\t(Makes a large cake.)
