Crumb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 scant tsp. salt
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 beaten eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, soda, baking powder and salt.
    Cut Crisco into mixture until well mixed.
    Take out 1/2 cup of this mixture and save.
    Add beaten eggs, buttermilk and vanilla.
    Pour into a greased pan or 2 (8-inch) cake pans. Add chopped pecans to the 1/2 cup of dry mixture and sprinkle over the top of the batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 or 30 minutes.
    Always serve hot.
