Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. shortening
2 2/3 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 lb. can pumpkin
2/3 c. water
3 1/3 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2/3 c. chopped nuts
2/3 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar well.
Add eggs, pumpkin and water. Blend in dry ingredients.
Add nuts and raisins.
Bake in 2 greased 9 1/4 x 5 1/4 x 2 3/4-inch loaf pans in oven at 325\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
