Vegetable Fritters(Chinese) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. carrots, shredded
    4 c. cabbage, shredded
    1 c. fresh green beans, cut into strips
    1 small onion, shredded
    1 egg or 2 egg whites
    3/4 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    oil for deep frying
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except oil in medium mixing bowl.
    Drop by tablespoonfuls into hot oil.
    Fry until golden brown.
    Drain fritters on paper towels.
    Serve hot.
