Ingredients

2 1/2 c. chickpeas
1 garlic clove, crushed
4 Tbsp. sesame paste (tahini)
1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
dash of salt
1/4 tsp. olive oil
1/2 c. water
parsley (to decorate)
Preparation

Rinse chickpeas under cold water; mash in a bowl.
Add garlic, sesame and lemon juice and stir until smooth.
Chill.
Serve on flat plate with Syrian bread.
