Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raw peanuts
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Mix together peanuts, sugar, corn syrup and salt in 1 1/2 quart glass casserole.
    Microwave (High) 8 minutes, stirring once after 4 minutes.
    Stir in butter and vanilla.
    Microwave 2 minutes more. Stir in baking soda.
    Pour onto greased baking sheet.
    Stretch until thin, using 2 forks.
    Cool and break into pieces.
    Makes 3/4 pound.
