Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. butter
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. vanilla
    enough flour to make stiff dough (plain)
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, beating after each egg. Add cream of tartar, soda and flour; mix well.
    Add vanilla and mix well.
    Knead; roll out and cut with cookie cutters.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
