Peanut Butter Blossoms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. peanut butter, creamy or crunchy
    3/4 c. granulated sugar (+ another 1/4 c. to roll cookies in before baking)
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 pkg. Hershey kisses
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream together the margarine and peanut butter in a large bowl.
    Add 3/4 cup white sugar and all the brown sugar.
    Stir in egg, vanilla, salt, baking soda and flour.
    Hand roll dough into 1-inch balls and then roll the ball in remaining (1/4 cup) white sugar.
    Place on an ungreased cookie sheet, flatten slightly.
    Bake for 8 minutes.
    Remove cookies from oven and gently place Hershey kiss on each cookie.
    Press into cookie just enough for the cookie to \"crack\".
    Bake an additional 2-4 minutes.
    Cool on wire rack and ENJOY!
    Makes 5 dozen!
