Gooey Butter Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick butter or margarine
1 box yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1 box confectioners sugar
few pecans, chopped (optional)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese at room temperature
1 tsp. vanilla or almond flavoring
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0; lower to 325\u00b0 when you put cake in oven. Combine margarine, cake mix and 2 of the eggs and mix well. Mixture will be stiff. Spread in long Pyrex pan (9 x 13-inch greased pan).
If pecans are used, sprinkle over cake now. Combine cream cheese, flavoring, confectioners sugar and egg.
Mix well and spread over pecans or bottom layer.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
Cool 30 minutes before cutting.
