Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. oil
3 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
3 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. ground cloves or allspice
3 c. mellow apples, peeled and finely diced
1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Mix oil, eggs, sugar and vanilla well. Sift dry ingredients. Blend with first mixture. Mixture will be thick. Add apples and pecans. Coat well. Grease and flour Bundt pan (or tube pan or 9 x 12 sheet cake pan). Put in COLD oven. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes (maybe a little less for sheet cake). Cool. Remove from pan. Glaze, if desired.
