Alfredo'S Mystery Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
    3 eggs
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. light or dark corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sprinkle pecans over cream cheese mixture.
    Beat eggs only until blended; add sugar, corn syrup and vanilla and blend well. Gently pour corn syrup mixture over pecans.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
    Then turn oven down to 350\u00b0 and cook until center is firm to touch.
