Crescent Chicken Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 oz. soft cream cheese
3 Tbsp. melted margarine
2 c. cooked chicken, cubed
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 (8 oz.) can crescent rolls
3/4 c. crushed crackers
Preparation

Blend cream cheese and 2 tablespoons of margarine (reserve 1 tablespoon) until smooth.
Add remaining ingredients, except crescent rolls and crackers; mix well.
Separate crescent dough into 4 rectangles.
Firmly press perforated marks to seal.
Spoon 1/2 cup meat mixture onto center of each rectangle.
Pull 4 corners of dough to top center and twist slightly to seal edges. Brush top with the reserved tablespoon of melted butter or margarine.
Sprinkle with crackers.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
